The REAL Hansel and Gretel

You know the story "Hansel and Gretel". The woodcutter's children are sent to the woods and left there because their bad mother thinks their family is too poor. They go to the house made out of candy and sweets. It turns out to be a wicked witch's house, and she wants to eat the two kids, but instead she gets tricked into bring pushed into the oven. They take all the witch's gold and are happy. Well, that's not the real story. But THIS is.
Once upon a time, there were two kids named Hansel and Gretel who lived with their parents. They were perfectly happy, but the children were incredibly spoiled. They often threw horrible temper tantrums. One day, the two kids got so angry that they stomped out to the woods. After a while, they got lost. The kind parents were very worried, but they couldn't help but enjoy the peace and quiet in their house. The two kids kept walking until they found a little cottage made out of sweets. They greedily ate most of the candy. Now, the person who lived inside was not a witch, but a kind old lady. She almost fainted when she saw that her candy was almost gone. She saw the two children and said to them,
"Kids? Did you do this?" Hansel and Gretel snorted.
"So what?" they laughed. The old lady sighed. The poor children must have been starved.
She smiled. "Come in and have some cookies," she said, feeling bad for the two kids. She took out her freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Hansel and Gretel soon finished the whole platter. When they finished, the old lady was cleaning the inside of the oven. They got up and accidently knocked the chair into her. She screamed and fell into the hot oven. They gasped in horror, but pretty soon they forgot about the poor old lady. They took what little money she had and ran away, laughing evily. And that's the REAL story.
