Halloween Poem

This is a tale of Halloween night,
The day that fills everybody with fright.
Nobody wants an apple in their bag on this dark day,
Because they’d rather get candy anyway.
Everybody watches the calendar to wait for the night,
Where you get scared when someone turns out the light.

I remember the day I went out on Halloween,
I spoke with great power to the zombie who looked mean.
I would always boast,
Because I could scare off a ghost,
Who was glowing a bluish glow.

I would scare off anything that looked like a boar,
My friends would always cheer for more!
The mummies and goblins would try to scare me,
I just stood there so that they could see,
I wasn’t afraid of anything they could be.

Then I heard a bark out of nowhere for sure,
It was my dog Diamond,
I could feel her fur!
I opened my eyes to a bright sun beam,
My great night was just a dream!
