Colton had just driven into the maze they call a parking lot at Great lakes Crossing mall. He stepped out of the car and began walking across the cracked asphalt of the parking lot. When Colton reached the Best Buy, he was surprised to see a mob of people in Pistons jerseys rushing toward him.
"OH MY GOSH! IT REALLY IS HIM!" A squeaky voiced teen screamed.
"What in the--" Colton was interupted when a mass of body collapsed upon him.
"OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH! I WANT YOUR AUTOGRAPH!" All the shouts began to blend together.
"GET OFF ME! AHH! GET OFF!" Colton screamed in horror.
Colton actually managed to squirm from the pile, and was releived when he saw a mall security guard trotting toward the group.
"Oh I'm so glad to see you." Colton panted, still catching his breath.
"Yeah- Hey are you Colton O'Connor?" The security guard asked, a small grin forming across his face.
"Yes but-"
"No way, no way. I am face to face with Colton O'Connor of the Detroit Pistons! Oh my gosh!" The security guard said, giggling with delight.
"Oh come on! Can I get a break?" Colton yelled in exasperation.
He began to sprint toward the GTO, the mob of fans, (And one chubby security guard) were racing towards him. Of course they couldn't outrun Colton's lightning fast basketball speed, and Colton jumped into the seat, turned on the ignition, and jammed his foot on the pedal. Colton was jerked back into the leather seat, for he had forgotten to put on his seatbelt. The tires screeched as Colton raced onto the street.
"Well," Colton said to himself, "I'm fair popular for being fired."
When Colton reached the penthouse, he breathed a sigh of relief. Yes, he thought, finally home. Colton guessed getting a job would have to wait until tommorow. And next time, he wouldn't be so notcible...
