I never watched Barney as a kid because my parents were disturbed by him and hate him just like me. Barney is scary. And if I was a small child, I would have nightmares if I watched that show

I watched it, but I believed if I watched more than three episodes a day, I'd have nightmares. I really did have nightmares about him. He would keep changing outfits (one thing that happens a lot in the show is that he hops behind a tree or something and spins around and changes into some costume.) and all the kids from the show were saying "stop, barney!". That's disturbing.
My sister was terrified of Swiper the Fox.
The movie Barney's Great Adventure really freaked me out.

Ni Hao Kai Lan!!! Now that's what a baby language show should be. Adorable with cute little animals. And Chinese. You can learn Spanish just about anywhere!!! Chinese is what we should be learning!!!

Yay! I agree; kid's shows should be educational without the kids knowing...like learning a cool language like Chinese! My friend's little brother is two and he's so cute and smart. He watches that and talks in Chinese, just random things here and there. And then he watches Dora and combined to two XD

I love Sesame Street and I love Dragon Tales, but I don't remember Dragon Tales as well. My favorite as a kid was Sagwa. The Chinese Siamese cat. Sometime last year I got a bunch of old episodes of Sagwa from the library and watched them all just for fun.
My friend still watches Sesame Street. I would if they still had Cookie Monster. He's my fave.
