Lord of the Ring Pops by The Students of Thunderbolt Elementary
![]()
ABOUT THE BOOK: Be prepared to laugh! The stories in this collection were written unlike any other story in the world. More than 1,200 students have come together to create three stories that are loaded with action, creativity, humor, vocabulary, sugar, and wild animals. Your senses will be delighted as you go on these awesome (and sticky) adventures with the students and teachers of Thunderbolt Elementary.
ABOUT THE AUTHORS: Thunderbolt Elementary students, under the direction of their Literacy Resources teacher, have created these three school-wide progressive stories from 2006 to 2009. The author is literally "The Students of Thunderbolt Elementary" because every child at the school was included in the creation and writing of each story. Each class then voted on and revised their sentences, with every idea taken into consideration, creating our collection of stories. This has been an annual school project since 2006.
