The Glowbird

Her eyes as brilliant as a sapphire,

Her spirit as dazzling as a ruby,

Her feathers as light as the wind around her,

A true beloved friend to me.

We have a bond that unbreakable,

even to the strongest bear.

We play like innocent children,

at anytime and anywhere.

We ride the air with no boundaries,

Our hearts free in ecstasy,

The tunes of nature beating at the same pace

Of our vivid infinite fantasy.

We’ve fought many battles,

Screamed cries that cannot be heard.

Our happiness and pain together created this strong bond between

Me and my glowbird.
