2010 Best Writer/Round 2/SA (Stara Aquila)

 A/N: The beggining says it all, I am NOT a poem writer. Here is my contest round two entry. I hope I'm not to late. And it's all not capitalized at the begining of the stanzas, thats because this is a free verse poem, and I like my free verses light and there are no rules in free verese, right? :D

a poem?

hmm, I’m not

much

of a poem writer

but

i’ll

try.

a wolf,

it would be nice

to have a wolf as you’re pet.

it’s silky soft fur,

glowing eyes,

a wonder of nature.

natural beauty,

perfect form,

of grace,

and perfection.

a wolf

as a pet,

would be amazing, but we can expand even more,

a winged wolf.

keep that image,

of you’re perfect wolf,

then add wings,

light and feathery,

like a swan or an eagle.

interesting image?

i think I’d like

a winged wolf,

better than a

normal wolf.

but, I’m

not normal,

so it makes sense,

doesn’t it?
