25 Days

25 Days

in the gym, like always

December 25th, 2010

Not the best poem and a bit cheesey, but I was bored:

25 days till Christmas

24,23,22

The days are counting down

Until the gifts are due

Oh what do I do

There's presents there and here

Relatives are always near

Smiles and laughs are coming by the plenty

So why should you kid yourself

Put your pride up on the shelf

And get into the spirit Christmas day

21 days till Christmas

20, 19, 18, 17

I'm getting all these Christmas cards

And really I don't mind

But I have to send mine

There's presents there and here

Relatives are always near

Smiles and laughs are coming by the plenty

So why should you kid yourself

Put your pride up on the shelf

And get into the spirit Christmas day

16 days til Christmas

15, 14, 13, 12

I'm really getting anxious now

I can already hear the bells

The ringing church bells

There's presents there and here

Relatives are always near

Smiles and laughs are coming by the plenty

So why should you kid yourself

Put your pride up on the shelf

And get into the spirit Christmas day

11 days til Christmas

10, 9, 8, 7, 6

Baking cutout cookies for my friends

And here's a little tip

I accept tips

There's presents there and here

Relatives are always near

Smiles and laughs are coming by the plenty

So why should you kid yourself

Put your pride up on the shelf

And get into the spirit Christmas day

5 more days till Christmas

4 then 3 then 2

Need to finish wrapping gifts

I'll bee done soon

As long as I start soon

There's presents there and here

Relatives are always near

Smiles and laughs are coming by the plenty

So why should you kid yourself

Put your pride up on the shelf

And get into the spirit Christmas day

Just one more day til Christmas

Going to scream and shout

Put the cookies and milk

For Santa Clause out

Then lights out

There's presents there and here

Relatives are always near

Smiles and laughs are coming by the plenty

So why should you kid yourself

Put your pride up on the shelf

And get into the spirit Christmas day

Finally Christmas morning

The hard work has paid off

Gifts under the tree for everyone

For him and her and me

Thanks everybody

Great poem! It flowed with a certain rhythm and beat, and it could even be a song! Great work! And Merry Christmas!
