I ran to you
In the middle of
That dance room.
I asked for your help
You gladly obliged
And gave me your hat
For a fun disguise.
You were all alone
I felt that way, too
I just didn’t want to admit
That I needed someone like you.
You stayed by my side
I showed you I cared
I got to know you and
Our friendship began to reveal.
The next day we confessed
What our hearts held dear
You met some of my friends
And we got along well.
I started hangin’ with you
You started hangin’ with me
We became best of friends
Yet I knew there was something more.
So when you hugged me
My heart would leap
And when I held your hand
I secretly knew you were the one.
6 months later things
Have changed a lot
But know I will
Never ever give up.
I love you just as much
As I loved you 6 months ago
Though we’ve already faced
So many ups and downs.
I love you and
I never regret
Running to you
In the middle of
That dance floor…
