8 minutes in the life of a procrastinator
in in my tiny cubicle / private vacuum with books and random dancing
November 8th, 2010
I am sitting here, procrastinating.
I have math to do,
Tests to revise for,
Outside-school work,
But no. I am just sitting here,
Absorbing the smell of my rice
In a haze of unproductivity
Trying not to think about calories.
I am disgruntled by the fact
That we have 6 tests a week
For almost every week
Until December, when the exams come
And then it starts all over again in January.
I don't want to do homework or read physics books or
do "fast-paced online learning"; I think about
What I want to do:
Write my book,
Draw some art,
Live my life beyond the grasp of school
And work
And more work
And even more
Work. But four minutes has passed already
And I'm panicking
Because there is no time for everything
And I will have to work supersuper quick.
I'm tired,
Just came home from dance and physics
And took a shower that I didn't want to end
And now
I have to go memorize Lady Macbeth's speech
For my drama competition.
And then
my homework
And then
Revise for my tests
And then
Do physics
And then
Cram in some nanowrimo time.
So
Tarraaa~

I know how you feel... there's not enough time in one day! I wish I had more writing time.
