AAAAHHHH! Tomarrow I'm getting braces! NOOOO! My mom told that it's going to hurt like heck and my buddy/cousin has gotten them and she agees! Three good things come out of this: 1: I get to miss school tomarrow and any day I have to get them titened, and 2: I get to go to my favorite store, Gamelot-the greatest vid game, trading card, action figure, comics, etc place evah! And spen all the money I want(which is like 30 bucks.;P) and 3: I GET TO EAT TACOS BEFORE WE LEAVE!!!!!:D It's still going to hurt but....

I got those in like fourth grade. NOTE: Make sure you have that mouth numbing stuff I can't spell. The day of, doesn't hurt that bad, but the day after, now that's torture. I remember just numbing my mouth up whenever it got too bad. Which was basically all day. The second day after isn't soo bad. Not as bad as the first day. Oh, and it seems to take forever.

Oohh! well, good luck w/ that! I had braces. Now I have retainers. Ehhhh.....good luck! its not that bad, though...its just that it kinda hurts when they tighten them...but when they take them off and you feel your teethg, it feels like marshmallows! Hahaaaa
I know. It's weird. But don't blame me, I'm too awesome to be weird :)
Yeah, I have a retainer too and it felt so awesome and weird to have them off. POPCORN! I could have popcorn again, and gum!

What?! You can't have popcorn?! This is torture... I'm about to leave to get them on, my mom is buying me tacos, YEAH!

You better eat them quick. After braces, the first 3-4 days you can't eat anything solid.
It's my second and I can't even eat pudding without feeling like someone shot me in the mouth. TT_TT They also got pliers and jammed the blue thingies(I think they're spacers) between my molars...:(

Oh come on! Braces aren't that bad! I had them for like 2 years but now I have a retainer so yeah. They're not bad. Plus don't listen to what the dude or gal says because it might not be true. I was suppose to have mine for 6 months but I had them for 2 years.

Actually, my bro had them for two as well. =) but don't worry... it'll feel better soon. Plus, you'll get an awesome smile afterwards. Good luck, and hang in there.
Almost all of my family (except me) has had braces. They don't think it hurts too bad.

I have since the middle of summer-till present day. There not that bad. Well, that's if your not a "Drama Queen". It also all depends on your mouth. For me it hurt for 1 to 2 days. In fact, I just got a new wire in my mouth, and it hurt for 2 days. You should get this wax stuff because, braces can hurt your mouth, and gums when you get your gums cut up from the brackets.
I have one more simple rule. Don't get punched in the face.

I am not a Drama Queen at all... They finally stopped hurting after five days-ended today-OH YEEAAH! Darn, I guess I can't pick fights with the boys anymore I guess... though I've never been hit-I'm too fast.

Yeah. Tell me about it. You'll be lucky when they take it off. ya know what's worse? I have to get mine a SECOND TIME! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

But you know what's cool? I get money, like those play money stuff and IF i get enough I could get those free stuff. They have a store for patients, mostly for kids.
