Thanks, Obi, and the others who wrote these, by the way!
One of the main stereotypes of a CA beach is that every guy is a surfer who says 'dude' and every girl is a stupid blond in a bikini. (okay, so yeah, there are some of those people mixed in, but they aren't majority.)
I don't surf, but I lot of people do-and they aren't all-well, the stereotypes.
People also think that every valley girl is 'like, a valley girl, giggle giggle." i know tons of rather rich girls who play water polo, are extremely smart, or are just awesome (I am not a 'valley girl' myself, however')
then-there are the so cal immigration stereotypes. they think that every single immigrant is some 'chonga'. (sorry perry)
well, they aren't.
the truths-
first off, people who live in areas like mine, HATE TOURISTS. seriously. not me, personally, but people write things with spray paint on walls like 'LA LEAVE.".
there is a large population of hispanic, but is that really a bad thing?
surfing is a competive, big thing on the beaches.
me, i'm just a blonde beach girl who stays out of the water.
also, about Malibu? Yeah, i go there a lot to eat and stuff. but no-i don't see stars eating around-and I certainly don't take pictures of their fancy mailboxes.

julia- she was on long before you were! Obi- a "valley girl" is the kind girl who says "like" before everything. For instance: "Did you, like SEE Simon at that, like, totally, like awesome, like party? Oh my gawd. Like, so, like, gorgeous..." thats the stereotype, anyway... I'm from the valley, but I don't talk or act like that!

I'll admit I say 'like' but yeah and yes we are not all blond though aadmitily I am slightly blond... But not really. And everyone thinks every holiday we go to Disneyland or the beach.
