Alien World Part 5

Vornan road towards the cliffs and they climbed up the cliff and waited to see if they would follow him. He tied rope to the large boulders on top of the cliff and as he expected they came marching down the narrow road. He grabbed hold of the rope. He jumped and swung down. WHOOSH! a soldier disappeared. Then another soldier and then another and another and another. “This place is cursed” some of the soldiers started to say. “Stand your ground men, stand your ground” said General Lexon making signals to be quiet. Then another soldier disappeared. Very clever kid very clever said General Lexon under his breath. Vornan landed on the top of the cliff after going down and taking the soldiers for a little ride. He ran and jumped off again. He swung down and grabbed a soldier and then let go when he had reached the other cliff. Dark clouds began to come in. Lexon feared if he didn’t find Vornan now he would never find him. Vornan looked at the sky and knew something bad was about to happen. And then it did. A lighting bolt hit the top of the cliff and when the smoke cleared Lexon was standing there. “Hello malien” said General Lexon happy to see Vornan. The lighting bolts seemed to hit the cliff more now and it seemed it was trying to hit Vornan. Lexon pulled out his sword and Vornan pulled out his dagger. They started a fight and an amazing one at that. Vornan did a flip and skid his dagger across Lexon’s sword and sparks flew. Lexon did cool tricks with his sword and then hit Vornan with a blast of energy. Vornan was hit across the floor but flipped just before he fell off the cliff. Vornan jumped at Lexon and hit him in the face and then drop kicked him in the nose. Lexon put his hand to his nose and cracked it back in place. Vornan gave a look of pain. Then Lexon swung his sword around and then sliced Vornan with it. But he had just put a rip in his shirt. “You put a hole in my new shirt” said Vornan looking at General Lexon. “All is fair in love and war” said Lexon hitting Vornan. Vornan got up and did a back flip and at the same time hit Lexon in the face. And strangely through all the time they were fighting lighting bolts hit the cliff. Then BANG! a bolt of lighting hit Vornan off the cliff. But thankfully Okin came running around the corner. Vornan stood up on Okin and saluted General Lexon and then sat down. I absolutely hate that kid said Lexon grinding hid teeth. Vornan found another cave to make camp. He put up his tent and then started a fire and by that time it was dark. This night, he wondered what had happened to his parents and how they just disappeared and if they were still alive. This night Vornan cried and drained all the sadness out and again the wind put him to sleep. Lexon on the other hand was not sad but furious! “I WANT THAT KID!!!” shouted General Lexon so loud that it was heard throughout the palace.
