All of the world has fled
peaceful silence in my head
a desolate world for me to recreate
a role given to me by fate
In the soil,
I bury my soul
and nurture and treat it
in hopes it will grow
On the lands,
I build my life
and design and mantain it
to flow out the tears I cry
In the skys,
I throw my dreams
and lay and imagine that
love in it will teem
In the animals,
I sing them songs
and played and taught them
to make their own or sing along
As I see them grow
many years gone by
I watch the wings of hope
begin to fly
A slow darkness
loosly draps over my world
but the harder I fight it,
tighter it curls
Hours of fighting,
Dripping blood and sweat
losing life
losing breath
A raspy moan
one last cry
a lonely death
I have died.
