Amaki; Prologue

In this time and place, everything is wrong. On the outside, things may seem normal, but something inside isn’t right and everyone knows it. No one says it, but they know. In the gears and knobs of the giant system that keeps our world alive, something isn’t working right. You can see it in the people’s eyes. Can see the fear in some, the hate in others, and the confusion in most. Mostly though, you can feel it in the air.

It’s dense and cold. The once mis-understood aggressiveness of the wild animals is now very mis-understood. The animals show more soul than before, as if they’re people themselves. The hate burning in their eyes, violence in their movements. Nothing has happened yet, but the feeling is eerie and wrenching. They know it. They all know it. They all know something is coming, and it isn’t good.

This is just a possible story. I might treat it like the rest of my stories and not finish it, but there's a possibility.
