Fae looked out upon the peaceful lake. The night sky was reflected on the calm mirror like surface. Stars twinkled softly amongst the playful ripples, shards of light reflected onto the girls fair skin. Her amber eyes were glazed over in a dream-like trance as she remembered how she had stood here earlier in the summer. But not alone. "He's gone now..." A light breeze brushed the water causing the starlight to riot. Pushing back her cropped mass of blonde hair, Fae smiled, seeing sights no one else could...
The willows sighed and the humidness began to disappear. The nights cool embrace engulfed the lakeside. Two lone figures wandered hand-in-hand.
