I cant really say that this is the thing that changed my life but I can say it did some of it.This is a story of the time that a horse changed my life. This is a true story and if you have any questions about this don’t be afraid to leave me a not on the notes page.So hear it goes!
Since I was little iv always been fascinated about one type of animal.Horses!I had so many horse books and I was always asking my mom to print out horse coloring pages. Then when my mom and dad decided to move to a farm out in garnet valley .We had bought a older house about 40 years old. it was 2 storeys high and it had a little barn. The field out side of the barn was covered with prickles and it was almost impossible to get in to the barn. We worked to get the old shavings out. it was quite obvious that it had been a over night hotel for the deer! I kept begging my mom to get me a horse so one day she took me down to a lady who had a horse for sale. I really liked her horse but my mom said that since it was blind in one eye it might not be a good horse for my age. I was very sad that day when we drove home. Then my mom tried again. this time she fond a group of ladies who buy horses that might have gone two slaughter. We browsed through the pages of horses that’s when we found her. She was only 2 years old and was a bright brown. Her name was babs. My mom bought her and had her shipped to our house. I was at school that day so when I got home I was so happy! We loved her and cared for her. I remember watching my mom train her to walk on a lead rope while I sat on the hay bales. Babs was not old a enough to ride. I wanted most was to ride. So my mom found a little pony for lease and we leased her. It just wasn’t the same as owning your own horse. Roxy(which was her name)had a bad habit of swing her head and almost hit you. She could be vary stubborn to. So at last she went back to her owners and we still had babs. At last my mom said that we needed to do something with her. Babs wanted to learn but we didn’t have time to teach her so we found a lady who would train her. Right this very day she’s at the ladies place and she’s just been shoed! I can have 2 weeks of riding classes on babs then she will come home! I cant white till she dos!
Babs is a qh. She has a great temperament and she loves apples. I’m missing her very much. But I an look forward and can see me having so much fun with her when she comes home! I dream of jumping her some day! But that’s in the future. Babs has changed my life a little and I am so glad to have her!!
