What Do Miracles Have To Do With A White Wolf?
~:Article One:~ Tamara - Age: 18 - San Diego, California - Hit & Run! 6/3/06
Victim tells a reporter at the scene, Rod Luck, that she had a strange dream the night before with a wolf in it. The next day she actually SAW the wolf in real life, right before she was [almost] hit by a speeding car! She tells , “The car was coming at me full-force. The driver tried to slam on the breaks, but he was already going too fast down the hill where I lived. The car began to spin and continued to hurtle down the hill, coming at me. Out of nowhere, a wolf comes and runs in front of the speeding vehicle. The car immediately stopped, only five feet away from where I stood, paralyzed.” As researchers began looking in on the case three things began to puzzle them. The fact that the girl had a dream the night before with the same wolf in it. The fact that the strange wolf could not be found. Also, the wolf was not even seen by the driver or anyone else and last, there are no WILD wolves in San Diego, let alone California. Tamara later reports on 6/7/06, “After the investigators told me this I was surprised they even listened to my story. I thought myself that I must be going crazy...” It is true, we are willing to listen. Especially when something almost exactly like this happened three other times, all miracles, and all dealing with a very special wolf.
~:Article Two:~ Eddie - Age: 15 - Riverside, California - Car Crash! 6/4/06
On Sunday, June 4th, Eddie Parker and his family (mom and dad) were on their way to church when a drunk driver crashed into the family’s convertible. The next thing Eddie new, he was flying out of the car. Luckily, he landed on a patch of grass not far away. He had broken a rib and wrist and couldn’t move. He tells us; “I couldn’t move and I was staring up at a slowly brightening sun as morning turned to noon. I had no idea where the cars were, where I was or if my parents were alright. I tried moving, or at least lift my head, but couldn’t so I cried out instead. Suddenly someone grabbed a hold of the back of my shirt. I looked up and saw white fur! The white animal began to pull me. Other than feeling as if my rib cage was about to collapse and realizing my wrist was bleeding, I was pretty numb. Before I knew what had happened I was staring up into the green eyes of a white wolf! The wolf vanished and I blacked out.” Luckily, someone has noticed the two crashed cars and had immediately called the police. They were there with in minutes with the ambulance. In the hospital, Eddie told his story. Everyone was shocked by the strange appearance of the white wolf when no one else saw it. Coincidence? Read the next stories and you can decide. . .
~:Article Three:~ Megan - Age: 13 - Santa Cruz, California Drowning In My Pool! 6/5/06
Megan was home alone with her older brother, Trevor, age 16, when they decided to go for a swim in their pool. Trevor was inside getting snacks and drinks while Megan was out in the pool. She was up on the diving board, getting ready to dive off and into the cool water. “I had only dived once since I learned how to swim a year ago and it took some guts for me to finally dive off a week ago.” She explains. “I went to dive when my foot slipped and I went head first into the water. I was slanted as I fell and hit my head on the side of the pool. Luckily, it wasn’t a long and hard fall, so I hadn’t cracked my head open or anything. But, I did black out. And, before I knew it, I was sinking. Then, next thing I know, I wake up and I’m being pulled up to the surface and over to the walk way. I thought it was Trevor at first, but then I looked and saw it was a white dog that was dragging me by my swim suit. It pulled me to the stairs where I climbed out onto the edge. I looked around me, dazed. The dog had vanished and Trevor was coming at me, fear in his eyes, dropping the drinks and food as he ran to me.” Trevor had immediately called 911 and his parents. The ambulance and police were there with in minutes. Megan was soon checked for any serious injuries, but there were none so she did not have to go to the hospital, she was cared for at her house. The white dog Megan later described to us was searched for, but not found. You won’t believe it, but yet ANOTHER incidence happened the very next day, and this one is REALLY freaky!
~:Article Four:~ Cody - Age: 11 - Orange County, California White Wolf Angel?! 6/6/06
Cody was outside in the pool when his asthma began acting up. As he climbed out of the pool and staggered into his house he smelt smoke. The smoke was coming from the kitchen, where his breather was! The kitchen was going up in flames and he was wheezing uncontrollably. He dropped down to the floor seconds later, unconscious in the kitchen. His parents wouldn’t be home for another hour. Amazingly, his older sister [Allyson] called a minute after he fell and the line had been melted by the flames. She knew something bad had happened. She was at the house and dragging her little brother out within 10 minutes. Luckily, the fire had began to go out because of a snapped pipe line. Later on investigators found it had been chewed by a large animal with powerful jaws. The broken pipe line had made the fire die out some, but the fire fighters and ambulance were there with in minutes to help Allyson and her brother. When Cody was finally in the hospital, he had no pulse... He had breathed in too much smoke that had mixed in with his asthma, making his lungs clog. But not all was what it seemed, something was happening in Cody’s mind, something unbelievable. “I remember darkness all around me. Somehow I knew I was dying, I could just tell. But suddenly, a bright light came out of no where. It was in the shape of a large dog, or a wolf even. The dog/wolf had bright green eyes and shining, glowing, snow-white fur. Suddenly, I began to breath again! Then I knew, the white dog/wolf was an angel, here to wake me from my death sleep.” These were the words of an eleven year-old, saved by a miracle. He indeed survived, and his story was told.
So, do YOU think it is all coincidence? Or is this ‘Angel Wolf’ really doing miracles around California? The world may never know... until now. . .
Chapter 1 The Night Shift
I walked down the dark alley and turned the corner. With my dark shades on it was even harder to see in the night, but my identity was a huge thing to me. I looked around the new alley and observed the different trash cans and old clothes and trash. No one was there, or were they? An owl hooed above me from somewhere in the nighttime sky and the wind picked up. My black coat flapped in the cold breeze and I shook off the coldness, though my teeth began to chatter.
‘I would be much warmer if I changed.’ I thought. But someone could see, and then it would be the end of my work. ‘But you took chances all the other times.’ I assured myself. ‘Yeah, but those were in times of trouble and chaos, not dark, cold, spooky nights.’
“Out a little late tonight, are we miss?” A harsh voice came out from the darkness.
I spun around to face my stalker. No one was there. “No, not for me.” I answered into the darkness, continuing to walk down the alley, pulling my coat tighter.
The stalker followed, I could hear his footsteps now. “Why do you have on those glasses. Detective?” The voice asked.
“No. I always where these.” I answered, continuing to walk.
“Really? And I thought you were actually doing something out here...” The footsteps quickened and they were coming from my right. I spun around, armed with a gun. The man had on a low-brimmed black hat, and an outfit similar to mine.
“Put the gun down, Jenny.” The man took off his hat and I saw his face. The smooth skin, the bright blue eyes even in the darkness, the soft lips of a lover.
“Jason!” I put away my gun and we embraced. He kissed my cheek gently and we hugged. “What are you going here?” I asked.
“Ben told me you were on another Night Shift.” was all he said in answer.
“Yes. I am. But why did you come?” I asked again.
Suddenly, I saw a slight flicker in Jason’s eyes. “I came to tell you about The Shadow.”
My heart beat faster. There was someone behind me, that’s what The Shadow meant. “Well, we could always talk about that at work. Why get me now? Why here? Why-“ I spun around and with my gun yelled, “PUT YOUR HANDS UP IN THE AIR WHERE I CAN SEE THEM!”The shadow scrambled away, running like a pathetic dog. I shot once, directly at the trash can in front of the guy. He stopped in his tracks.
“I’m sorry! I didn’t know! I won’t tell anyone!” he cried. Jason and I ran up and grabbed him, pushing him up against the wall.
“What do you know? Who sent you?” Jason questioned.
“I DON’T KNOW ANYTHING! No one sent me! I was just here at the wrong time! That’s all!” he cried again, his brown eyes filled with fright.
“Sure that’s the story you’d want to go with?” I asked, keeping my gun so he could get full view of it.
The man’s eyes grew wide and he looked back at the gun to our faces. He was scared stiff. “FINE! I’ll tell you! It was... Todd Ramsey.”
Jason immediately let go of the guy and he dropped down to the ground. “Todd?! Why would he send you?” Jason asked.
“That’s impossible!” I breathed. “Todd wouldn’t send a spy!”
“I’m not a spy!” the guy cried.
“What’s your name?” I asked.
“Trevor Berlin.” he answered.
“Trevor Berlin, you’re a spy, and you’re coming with us.”
The guy looked at me, to Jason, to the gun. “Alright. I’ll come. But as long as I get a lawyer.”
Chapter 2 A Different Reporter
Turns out Trevor was telling the truth. Todd had only sent him to make sure Jason and I hadn’t forgotten what we’d come there to do. Obviously, Todd didn’t think the guy would get caught. Shows how much he knows. What still puzzled me was why Todd wasn’t trusting us. ‘Maybe he’s found out about me.’ I thought. ‘No, not even Jason knows what I can do. Maybe, some day he’ll know, but not now.’
It was 7:00 in the morning and I got out of bed and walked out into the hallway and down into the kitchen. I grabbed a cup of coffee and sat down at the computer.
Some want to know more about this strange wolf angel and if it’s real. But why are we so interested? Couldn’t it just be some imaginative figure that some people are just seeing b coincidence? No, most investigators are saying. These are TOO alike to be a coincidence. But, if investigators want to solve this case, they have a lot ahead of them. It almost seems impossible to find some way of telling if this wolf is real or not.
I sat back in my chair, examining a piece of my latest article. Yes, I was one of SAUM’s top journalist and a minor investigator. SAUM (Strang And Unexplainable Mysteries) is a new team that got together in the year 2006 and we’ve been based in the southern part of CA for about two years. Jason and I were one of the first to get the job.
Ben, our boss, and the co-ed boss, Todd, had partnered Jason and I from the very first day. And, well, you can guess what happened from there on.
“Good thing it’s a Saturday. Don’t have to go in until twelve today.” I sighed, taking a sip of my coffee. I spun around in my seat and turned on the TV. I had left it on MTV Hits the other night and the song Savin’ Me by Nickleback happened to be playing. I watched as the guy in the movie began swiping at the top of the other people’s heads, trying to find out what the strange numbers were. It’s cool how at the end of the movie he gets his number back by saving someone. A truly awesome song.
Suddenly, I shut my eyes and saw a vivid picture of a small girl, maybe 5 or so, face down in a swimming pool. The clock said 8:00am and I watched as a street sign popped in my head. Turner, El Cajon, San Diego.
I opened my eyes and the picture faded. “Say it if it’s worth savin’ me!” The song ended and my heart began to beat faster. I had one hour to get down to El Cajon and find the street called Turner.
I leaped up, pulled on a thin sweater and ran out of the door, keys in hand.
I was down in El Cajon in about 35 minutes. I stopped at a 7 11 and asked where I could find street Turner. No time to look at the map. The girl at the register could tell I was frantic, so she immediately told me. I thanked her and ran back into the car.
I found the street in about 10 minutes. I checked my watch. 7:50am. I hopped out of my car and peaked around every house I could get to. It was the fifth house I came to that I saw a young girl and her older brother playing in their Jacuzzi.
I looked at my watch, 7:58am. I ducked behind some tall bushes and took a deep breath. It was time. I shut my eyes and felt the change take place. My eyes snapped open and I was seeing in new colors. I smelled human flesh near by. I also smelt water. I looked down at a small puddle of water beneath me. I was staring into the green eyes of a white wolf. . .
Chapter 3They Have No Idea
With in a minute her brother had gone into the house. I snuck in through a hole in the far side of the gate and crawled in between a couple if tall bushes. The little girl was in the Jacuzzi when she decided to get out and walk towards the house. She was distracted by a grasshopper. It began to hop around the pool and the girl followed. My heart beat faster and faster every step she took. I decided to sneak out early. I crept forward, the girl still chasing after the bug. Saying all the while, “Here little buggy, here boy!”
Suddenly, she got a foot away from the pool. My eyes widened. 15 inches, 10 inches. I lunged. Out of the corner of my eye I saw her brother coming out of the back door. He looked like he was 14 or 15, boy was he going to be shocked!
The girl fell forward, here eyes widened in sudden fright. My jaws clamped onto her shirt and she screamed. At first I thought I had hurt her, but then she cried out in surprise and looked back at me.
“Mandy!” The boy rushed forward. I pulled the girl ack, she fell down onto her bottom. “Mandy!”
“The wolf Joshy! It’s the wolf! The same wolfy!” Mandy cried.
I backed away, my eyes darting back and forth, where was the nearest exit? Where could I get out? Mine as well lead them to the huge hole, they should know it’s there.
“The wolf from TV!” Josh breathed.
I turned and ran.
“Hey! Come back!” Josh shouted.
“WOLFY!” Mandy cried.
“HEY!” Josh began to chase me. I turned around and growled. He stopped in his tracks. I threw my head around a little and whined. ‘Watch her.’ I said in wolf talk. ‘Care for her.’ Josh looked at me, confused. ‘Be a good brother.’ I turned around and ran under the gate and out into their front yard. I lifted up my head and howled. Josh didn’t follow me. ‘Good boy.’ I howled.
I ran to the car. I changed back into a human with in seconds and hopped into my car. I put on my glasses and drove away. I passed the house on my way out and I could see Josh and Mandy peering out their window. I turned on the radio.
“Say it if it’s worth savin’ me!” I smiled, the only emotion I had to show. . .
