A Bit of Nostalgia.

Back then, before KidPub started going through major changes, the website looked like this:

(I completely forgot how to post pictures here. Gah.) If you look around, you can see me (G!ngy/Seagull). You can see Clarissa and Sagar and Jack, whom I think you all are still familiar with. And then you see Otter of Oh! and Lauren/Caius and Calla/Aiden and K@zel, and you're like, who are they? Old members. Quit last year. The three I mentioned up there are old, too, since this screen shot was taken years ago.
Back then, we had a different writer's block than you have now. I can barely remember what it looked like, but it was far different. The notes page served as a battlefield for epic spam wars. KidMUD was a land of imagination of adventures. KP Publishing was just lifting off, and we all knew we were heading for change. Some took off, like myself and others. Some stayed, like Clarissa or Sagar. Anyways, we always find ourselves coming back and that's one thing I lurve about KidPub.
I just wanted to give you a little KP history lesson. Oldie out.

Oh yeah, and in the winter, Perry used to program the homepage to "snow". The snowflakes would collect on the bottom of the screen until you moved your mouse. :')
There's a lot more, but I feel like a textbook.

Perry did the snowing thing this year/last year… It was cool. There's a button for posting pictures. It looks kinda like a house… It's by the big As, and the planet with a chain. :P I've forgotten what the old commenting/posting thing looked like… I never got to meet Otter of Oh!, or Kazel, and I don't think I ever really got to meet Lauren. Or Lone Wolf… But I kind of know who they are/were. I'm pretty sure Otter of Oh! was redhead on Writer's Block. I really wish I could've seen KidPub back when it was like that…
I like rambling about how KP used to be. Are you still going to stay? :P

He did? Huh. I guess I was busy studying for exams or something. And yeah, I tried to use that button, but it didn't work so I just pasted the link. I used to know all the tricks for this place...Gah. Otter of Oh! left early in 2009, I think, which is why no one really knows about her anymore. Kazel stopped posting much in late 2009, too, but up until last summer she posted in the WB a lot. Yup, Otter of Oh! was redhead. I think KP looked better like that, but maybe it's just a nostalgic thing.
I'm on currently, but I'm not making promises for the future since I barely know anyone anymore. Also, there's a user named Ginger Brown and her username sounds so much like mine that I'm considering approaching her and asking if she'd like to be my apprentice to continue my so-called legacy. Just kidding.

The picture thing usually takes awhile to load the first time, though sometimes it freezes up for me and I have to rewrite the comment. Why did she leave?
I hope you will… And I don't think I've seen her. I think your legacy should totally include mind control and explosions. :p

Team Perry!
A lot of people left because they felt out of place, or like they outgrew KP. Some just fell out of touch with it.
It's actually pretty common, and seeing as a lot of the members now are younger the older ones feel like it's time to move on.
And besides everyone has to move on sometime.
That's what I was guessing.
Teamwork is a lot of people doing what I say.
Team Perry!
Ah, the good olde days when I wasn't on here.
