A Boy Scout Story

This is the story about a man who achved his goals and scuessded. This is the story of Andrew Jonson. The year is 1971 and Weblo Andrew Jonson is going to be a boy scout. he looked at 10 troops to make his final dision. He was joing troop 167 in Dover, Delware just 3 minuts away from his house. When he was fresh into boy scouts he went to his first metting. He passed everything to statrt boy scouts. Then he went on a camping trip in Bizmark, New Jursey 10 miles away from Trention. The frist night he was a little worryed and confsed but the scond day he was nearly in charge of his ptrole. The forth mettting he was all ready a tenderfoot. 5 weeks later he was 2nd class and 2 weeks later he was 1st class. Two years later when he was 13 in 1973 he was a life scouat whale the rest of his prtole was 1st class. 3 years later he was an Eagle scout the higest requirement in boy scouts. But he had two do one thing Camp off trail in the winter at the Appalchin Moutins for 8 days. On January 16th 1977 he slept on the Appalchin for 8 days. The boy scouts forgot that A huge Blizzard was headed for the moutins. So andrew spent 8 days in -5 weather how did he surive. He packed 5 flshlights for warmth, 9 sandwitches and waters, A thromus sleeping bag , a tent, and snowpants boots gloves a big jacket and a hat. On March 19th 1977 he rescued a man in a buring house and got the heroship award. On June 1979 he was offred to be a troop leader but he turned it down. But on January 13th 1988 a terrable thing happened. Andrew was camping Cascade, Orgon and he set up a tent on wet mud that was on unstable land but he didnt know. At 11:00pm he went to bed. At 2:45am the land fell into the river along with the tent and Andrew. Six weeks later the found him floating down the clombas river dead. He will be remembered to be the son a Bating Powwel.
