Butterfly fly away
in Pennsylvania
April 23rd, 2009
Butterfly, Butterfly fly away. I've nursed you to health now you ca'nt stay.
Flutter on over to that cherry tree. I'm sorry but you ca'nt stay with me.
I know that you can not assume that life is not always a flower ready to bloom.
Huddle up close to my ear and tell me something I want to hear.
Do not complain, Do not cry. Uh oh there is a dark cloud passing by.
Drip drop
Drip drop
So much for letting you go.

Hi I am Jordynn the poetry princess. At least that's what everyone in my school call's me. The meaning of this story is that when someone has a baby it goes through phases and gets older and bigger everyday. Then once the butterfly gets their wings it's aloud to be let go and get married and get a place to call their own. Sometimes it could make your parents or your Aunt or Uncle or whoever you live with very sad. Well to bad for them. I hope you enjoy this poem just as much as I do.

I like this a lot. IY's got an interesting rhytem, that's, I don't know, cool, I guess.
Just one thing: "I know that you can not assume that life is not always a flower ready to bloom." Both of those nots makes it a double negative, which is basically saying 'I know that you can assume that life is always a flower ready to bloom.' Just a thought...

I like this poem a lot. It tells a good story. Isn't "butterfly fly away" a Miley Cyrus song?
I don't know if it is or not.
