Camp May the tragedy that happened at camp may.

Jimmy was 60 yrs old and was not well he caught pneumonia that night they were having picnic outside on the beach with the other campers. Cubby felt jimmy’s forehorehead which was hot and listened to his faint heartbeat. Cubby ran under the tree and started crying. Ellisa, sussie, and Denise and the rest of the campers tried to comfort Cubby about jimmy but Cubby continued to cry. Elisa said sussie please get camp counselor Mary to help us not camp counselor portraits she dislikes us. So sussie gets camp counselor Mary and says Cubby won’t stop crying about jimmy. Mary said portrait please keep a watch on jimmy for me while I help sussie out please thank you.
Mary arrived with sussie and said girls get your bag lunches out of the refrigerator we are going to have lunch on the beach today said mary smiling at the campers. Mary sat Cubby in her lab and said, I know you’ll miss jimmy a lot Cubby he died from pneumonia not from all those practical jokes being played none will take his place Cubby said mary just remember the good times everybody had here with jimmy said mary smiling at Cubby. Cubby said Mary does everyone die at some time or others? Yes Cubby god sends an angel to fetch us when it’s our time to leave planet earth Cubby said, Mary smiling. Cubby said is you are camp counselor now? Yes Cubby said Mary portrait is just a jr. aide to me Cubby said Mary. Portrait had to return back to school that day on the bus everybody waved goodbye to her and said thank goodness that mean aide is gone said everyone. Mary was the only camp counselor left in charge of the campers. Cubby got real scared and asked what if something happens to you Mary who would be in charge of us asked Cubby concerned? Cubby nurse Kim and I talked it over and we decided to hire another junior camp counselor she’s a year younger than me she loves kids she had 7 children she raised as a teenage mother her name is Beverly she looks a lot like me said mary smiling at Cubby and the other girls who overheard their conversation. When will she be here asked Cubby smiling at Mary? Mary looked at her watch and said her bus route is running a little late today so she’ll be here in time for lunch sweetie here’s the notebook you worked on while jimmy was here. Cubby said, Mary no thank you I don’t want to that anymore I just want to have fun at camp with the other campers please said Cubby. No problem Beverly will be the incident reporter then. Cubby looked at the electric chair and she started crying. Mary comforted Cubby and said shah we will not be using that anymore for discipline on any of the campers since campers feel bad when other campers get hurt said Mary smiling at Cubby. Beverly'’ bus arrived Mary went out to greet Beverly from the bus welcome aboard to camp may. While everyone was getting Beverly unpacked someone played a mean prank on Cubby where Tammy and Tara tied Cubby onto the electric chair and turned it to the severity level. Those two were laughing at Cubby who was crying and screaming. Ellisa get Mary or Beverly right away this is serious said dennise and sussie trying to calm Cubby down. Ellisa ran over and tugged on Mary’s shirt and said Tammy and Tara did something real bad to Cubby please follow me; Beverly looked at mary puzzled and said Beverly Elisa is always truthful please come with us it’s part of our jobs as camp counselors bev said mary smiling at bev. So the counselors arrived in the house and were not amused at seeing what was happening to Cubby. Mary turned the machine off and bev unplugged the machine and placed a child safety lock on it that would sting a camper with a electric shock if they touched it. Mary said Cubby is always getting hurt all the time she’s such a sweet camper I just don’t understand why Tammy and Tara would do this to her bev. Bev said, I am guessing Cubby was jimmy’s incident reporter and Tammy is clara’s older sister she was trying to get revenge on Cubby for hurting her sister Clara at one of the other camps you attended with jimmy said bev. Boy Beverly you’re a very sharp and bright junior aide it must have been tough for you living in a family of 7 being the baby in the family said mary smiling at bev. Bev said next winter I am going to audition for a part to become an actress so you’ll be here as a camp counselor next winter. Mary said, bev I’m going back to college to get my degree this winter so we’ll have to find a temp counselor until my 4 week course ends my final exam dates are listed here on the paper with a note saying I’ll be returning to camp spring late march if all goes well. Bev said when is your transit picking you up Mary asked bev? The day after tomorrow Beverly.
The campers waited until a transit picked up mary and Cubby ran up to mary and said hurry back please I miss you already said Cubby hugging mary all the campers smiled at Cubby while Beverly unreeled Cubby from mary saying be good for Beverly and Kim for me girls. Beverly are you a mean counselor? Nope I am just as nice of a counselor as Mary was to you.
Beverly answered the phone and told the campers Mary arrived safely at her dormitory that night.

The day before the final exams Mary’s roommate didn’t care much for her so she asked mary if she could copy her math homework and she said Sharon you have to learn to do your homework for yourself. So since Mary didn’t give Sharon her homework to copy Sharon challenged Mary to a fight outside the room. Mary accepted Sharon’s offer so that day before finals after midnight Sharon said mary I am ready for you are you ready for me mary. Mary said yes let’s get this over with for tonight. Mary had a tough time with Sharon she was a lot tougher than Mary expected. Sharon won the match who was broken up by their den mother said DR Nash would deal with you two tomorrow girls get to bed right away. Jessica Mary’s best friend came in to sit next to her and said you handled Sharon real well tonight Mary. The campers are probably laughing since Sharon got the best o me tonight said Mary crying. Jessica said Mary the campers that are your true friends won’t laugh or tease you it’s the ones that are not your true friends. Mark smiled and said may I come in and talk with Mary please. Jessica told mark what happened to Mary. Hi mary sorry your having a rough time at the dormitory tonight are you sure your fine I’m sorry Sharon did that to you but she is DR nash’s favorite pet here and if you don’t please the pet you’ll get hurt like you did tonight sweetie get some rest finals are tomorrow.

The next morning came Jessica ran into Mary’s room and said sleepy head it’s time for final exams. Mary joked with Jessica by saying OK mother Theresa. Jessica smiled and waited for Mary to get dressed up. Wow you are dressed like a pretty young lady Mary said, Jessica. When Jessica and Mary entered the lodge for breakfast all the campers looked up and saw a different Mary for the first time. One of Mary’s old friend was up there with his basket ball team. He couldn’t help noticing how much Mary changed from has. Robby said hi mary you sure have changed a lot since hhs I can remember at highschool you were so shy and bashful and not too confident in hhs what happened to my little shy friend from hhs said, rob. May said rob I am grown up now and I have a meeting with DR nash thanks to Sharon from starting that fight with me last night. Rob said mary DR nash is a black dean he seems really nice to me don’t worry your so cute DR nash won’t hurt you sweetie said Robby or gave mary a teddy bear hug and kissed her on the cheeks right in front of the other girls in line that were laughing. DR Nash said Mary sweetie please come in and take a seat pleases we’ll have a nice talk honey. DR Nash said here’s Mary for you we decided to let Mary Finnish her exams and please said Sharon into my office immediately Jessica. Robby asked Mary how her meeting went with DR Nash she replied it went well rob. During the math test Mary’s ankle came numb and she fell onto the floor Sharon was laughing and Jessica screamed who sat down next to Mary on the floor. The math teacher came running over and said she just fainted get me some water and place a small piece of garlic and pepper in the water so I can revive her please Jessica. Rob went over to Sharon and gave her two shiners for hurting his girlfriend spread out on the floor. Everybody was laughing at Sharon since she was bawling like a baby. DR nash walked in and said what’s going on in here there has been too many complaints from nearby classrooms that there is too much noise in here Matthew said DR nash Jessica gave Matthew the water and Matthew opened Mary’s mouth gently and poured the water down her mouth slowly Jessica said her heart is beating she’s OK. Mary looked at Jessica and said why am I on the floor and what is that gross stuff in my mouth? Jessie smiled and handed Mary a plain glass of water. Matthew said Jessica since your taking good care of mary here are some notes for you she is in remission but I would feel a lot better after finals are over that you have mary go to the emergency room tonight for a check up since her ankle is swollen real bad. So Jessica rode on the bus with Mary besides your parents who else should I contact. Jessie contact bev and Cubby at camp may and give them this address and phone number for me since I was suppose to go back to camp spring today. So Jessie said sure thing Mary. Jessie took a taxi back to the dorms. Rob said Jessie how’s Mary coming along honey she has to stay over 3 nights in the hospital. Join us tomorrow for the bad news about Mary to camp spring addressed to Cubby and Beverly. Cubby rang Mary’s room and Sharon answered the phone and said hi whom do you wish to speak to? Is Mary there I need to talk to her right away so rry Cubby Mary’s dead? Sharon hung up the phone and Sharon went back into her room laughing. Bev rang the room and Jessica answered the phone and asked when Mary’s funeral was at. Jessie said bev Mary’s not dead she’s in the hospital since she got hurt from a karate fight from devil Sharon who probably scared poor Cubby tonight here’s the phone number you can call her and have Cubby talk with mary she passed her finals with all A’s so she will be back at camp summer bev. Thanks Jessie said Beverly. Beverly said Cubby Mary’s not dead it was her old roommate that you talked to her that scared you tonight sweetie said bev rocking Cubby. Cubby asked what happened to Mary then. Cubby Mary’s in the hospital recovering from a karate fight she had with her roommate named Sharon apparently she’s the bully in the dormitory. Do you want to call her dear? May I call Mary please sure here’s the phone it’s ringing Cubby said bev? Denise walked in and said is Cubby fine yup where’s mary she was suppose to come back to camp today poor Cubby misses her so much said Denise to bev. Bev used the other phone line and explained to the highschool principal she will not be back in hhs until late fall. Bev said there’s always summer school. The new aide that relieved bev was strict.
