camp snow by mary

welcome to camp snow where camp counselor mary is the only camp counselor at this camp with the previous campers from my previous camp stories. the campers and mary were decorating a christmas tree at camp snow and everyone was anxiously waiting for santa claus to arrive at camp snow. shirley would tell sarah and cubby that santa claus was fake and sarah cried and so did cubby. mary approached cubby and sarah and said honey why are you crying said mary sitting in between cubby and sarah. sarah said cubby shirley told us santa claus is not real is that the truth asked sarah sobbing. mary said if you have faith and believe in santa he will believe in both of you and pay no attention to shirley sarah and cubby said mary smiling at them. sarah and cubby thanked mary for helping them feel better about santa. during picture time with santa sarah sat on santa's lap and tucked at his white beard and fell off and santa was a old normal adult pretending to be santa claus and sarah started crying. mary went over to sarah and said sarah it's okay honey if you want to believe in santa claus you may believe in him keep your faith in santa since if you stop believing in him he may not leave you a nice christmas present honey said mary sitting sarah down next to cubby. shirley approached sarah and cubby and said see i told you santa claus is fake but cubby said shirley leave sarah and me alone please we know better than you do where santa claus is the real person and since you don't believe in him you may not get a special gift from santa claus shirley said cubby. shirley said sarah and cubby you are big babbies here that believe everything people tell you said shirley. mary overheard shirley talking to cubby and sarah and approached shirley and told her if she wants to remain at camp snow she should change her attitude and knock off of teasing sarah and cubby said mary to shirley. shirley took camp counselor mary serriously and backed off of cubby and sarah and cubby said mary thank you for helping us out with that odd problem. no problem said mary smiling at cubby and sarah who smiled back at mary. christmas eve came everyone was fast assleep where the real santa claus slipped through the chimney where mary, sarah, and cubby saw santa claus delivering presents underneath the tree. shirley had a bag of coal for her and sarah walked up to santa and said excuse me are you the real santa claus and santa smiled at sarah and said yes i am the the real santa claus and both cubby and mary sighed a breathe of relieve when santa told sarah he was the real santa. next morning came and everybody rushed into the camp lodge and opened up their presents and shirley said who left this bag of coal for me everybody gigled at shirley and sarah said santa left you the bag of poop shirley since you don't believe in him like the rest of us do. shirley's face was real red she was embarrassed by the campers and she ran out of the lodge and started crying. darlene wanted to help shirley but mary told darlene shirley will be fine honey she needs to be by herself darlene to simmer off a bit said mary smiling at the campers and at darlene who still looked worried about sshirley. mary said darlene call shirley in for lunch honey please. darlene went outside and sat next to shirley and said you'll make it through this and to darlenbe's surprise shirley belted her in the eyes where darlene had two shiners from her eyes and darlene said shirley i know your angry about the coal situation you received but all of us campers and the camp counselor wants to be friends with you and shirley said the campers hate me here. darlene said shirley they don't hate you honey they just don't like your attitude problem honey where shirley and darlene walked into the cabin where mary asked darlene what happend to her two eyes and darlene said i'm fine mary it was just an accident caused by shirley honey said darlene smiling at mary. mary let this incident slide and told everybody they could start eating their food. mary approached shirley and said honey are you feeling okay aske mary. shirley replied i know the campers and you hate me so get lost said shirley outlet to mary and mary said shirley nobody hates you it is your attitude poblem they hate. mary left shirley alone for a few seconds then cubby approached shirley and said show allittle more respect for mary the camp counselor she and darlene were trying to make you feel better said cubby then shirley picked up cubby and threw her against the walls and doors where cubby started crying and mary came running to cubby and picked up cubby and said shh cubby you'll be fine where mary was trying to remain patient around the campers until shirley did something to denise outside where mary got real angry with shirley and said i'm calling your father up to pick you up from camp shirley today so pack your things you are no longer welcomed here. so mary called shirley's dad and shirley's dad grabbed shirley by her arm and took out his belt and took shirley's pants and underwear off and gave her 20 slashings for misbehaving at camp and when you get home i will give you 40 more slashing. shirley ran over to mary and said i'm sorry i behaved so bad please let me stay here and i promise not to cause anymore problems here mary said shirley sobbing and trembling and cubby approached shirley and asked mary why shirley was crying and mary whispered into cubby's ears she got whipped by a belt and then her father verbally threatened her when she gets home he was going to give her 40 more slashings at home and she apologized to me for hurting you and darlene and she wants to remain on the camp premises what do you think miss cubby should we give shirley a second chance honey asked mary. both mary and cubby decided to givc shirley a second chance and shirley's father left the camp. cubby said shirley why didn't you tell me or mary about your abusive father we both love and care about you shirley said cubby hugging shirley. shirley howled when she sat down on her seats and a few campers started giggling but mary told them to knock it off and behave themselves please and then the laughing stopped noone double crossed mary after seeing what happend to shirley that afternoon. mary's patience was on a short term basis this afternoon cubby tried to get mary into a better mood
