Can You Hear Me?
in in my tiny cubicle / private vacuum with books and random dancing
October 19th, 2010
I lied
I admit it
I'm sorry
There, I said it
Come on
Don't be mad at me
Can you just
listen to my plea?
But you're not listening
You're shutting me out
I'm sorry you're hurting
Can you hear me shout?
Good friends -
Not anymore.
Pains me to see
How close we were before.
Yeah, I hurt you
I see it on your face
It's agonizing for me too
But I'll give you some space
But you're not listening
You're shutting me out
I'm sorry you're hurting
Can you hear me shout?
It hurts for me
To see I've hurt you
Talk to me!
Do you doubt my sincerity?
Punish me!
Do whatever to make us
friends again.
I wish
You'd pick up when I call
You don't.

This is a very nicely written poem but you labeled it 'true story'. Is it true? Just wondering.
Your very good at writing though!
*smirks* "This is absurd! You don't know me and I don't know you and we are not having this conversation at all! I sought out to thank you and now that I have thanked you... Mr. Dawson, it was a pleasure..." *shakes hand hastily* - Rose DeWik Bukktar
I like it.
