PArt one: The HUnting of the Stones
Chap one: Tessaet the Old

Capri couldn't believe it. Here, right by her, was Tessaet, her anscestor. He claimed to be Yaiselhwin's friend. Capri, as much as she respected the anscestors, had none whatsoever interest in, well, stones. Why were they so special? CApri knew a spell was on them, but maybe it was only legend about the LAst Stone. The TRaveler's book had said "legend". Legend was not always true. IF she could convince Tessaet that it wasn't true, maybe he would forget about it and leave CApri alone. Why was he not dead like Yaiselhwin? He wasn't special, he was a regular person. YAiselhwin was special, because she was the first fair maiden. Did she have a sort of magic? She had been able to cast a spell on the stones, so shouldn't she be alive instead of Tessaet? CApri was confused. Very confused.
CApri waited for Kartina to come in. She was definatly up by now. INstead, Tessaet came in. "Ah, young one, you are awake. Let us begin the search for the stones." Said he.
Capri sighed and got out of the wagon. it was very sunny and warm out, and Capri stretched. She kicked a stone, and over the edge of the canyon it went. "You fool!" Tessaet said. Suddenly the groud began to rumble. Tessaet outstretched his arm for the stone. he kissed it, and the ground was still. Capri's tanned face was white, and Tessaet laughed softly. "Oh, I forgot to tell you. I'm a not human, well, at least not all human. I am mostly Jig, and I can lift things up by thinking of them, and staring at the place it will come. it is easy, really," Tessaet said. Capri sighed. So-- if Tessaet was was only a fraction human, then maybe she could try it too. she stared thought about a clump of grass and stared at her feet hard. In a second, there was a clump of grass. Tessaet laughed again. "Ah, it is truly Capri Yaisel, my blood descendant." he said. Capri sighed and walked arou nd. She wanted to explore the canyon while Tessaet was busy. "I just hope, that Jig power can't lift humans!" CApri thought. THen, after she found a path, Capri discovered the CAnyon. She knew where it was and what it was, onl y she really, really discovered it. Tessaet jumped to her just as a iron wall came out of the ground and trapped them there!
