A Day at the Beach
in Queensland
November 23rd, 2009
On this warm, sunny day, the deep blue ocean crashes majestically on the cold brown rocks.
As the tide draws nearer, I can subtly smell and taste the salt.
Beautiful pelicans are flying swiftly through the clear, crystal blue sky.
The Rocky cliff with lots vegetation leaves and enormous shadow on the warm, yellow sand and a cool breeze is making the sunny, green grass sway briskly and it also brushes against my face.
Two young people are sitting on the moist grass, carefully watching the ocean and scenic wonders.
The girl is wearing a lovely white, woollen jumper which looks great with the grass. The boy is wearing grey clothes which go well with the ocean.
As I sit there I remember how our big family came to this place everyday in the summer vacation.
As the sun begins to set slowly, I start to pack up my thing and slowly I leave and walk towards our small welcoming home.
