Dear Diary

Dear Diary

I write in my diary every day,

On my bed, that’s where I lay.

“Dear diary, How are you?

This day is so sunny, clear and blue!”

Another quote from me,

“The sky as long as you can see!”

You’d never have guessed what I do best,

I lie on my bed and write... and rest.

My siblings barge in,

Whenever I begin,

Saying, “What are you doing? What is that?”

And I just looked at them and wrote and sat.

No one will ever find my diary,

It’s hidden safely behind the tree!

Neither brother nor sister will sneak,

Won’t sneak just one little peek!

I will keep it safe from the wind,

Keep it safe ‘til the end!

And the end is near, friend and foe,

We’ve had fun even when we knew so.

Tomorrow is a new day,

And it holds a new way.

But tonight I think I’ll cuddle up,

And now it’s time to say

The End
