Erin Lanhow and Waverly Mansion By Jennifer

“Ahhhh” Erin Lanhow screamed as she woke up from her nightmare. Erin Lanhow was a tall thirteen year old tomboy. She was 5 feet of pure loyalty and she always knew what to say. Long , dark, silky hair covered her thin head. Bushy eyebrows were right above her black eyes.
Erin just had a dream where ghost were chasing her. “I need some milk” said Erin. “Mom, Dad.” They weren’t there. She walked around the house three times before she found a note that said “I have your parents. If you ever want to see them again go to Waverly mansion.”
Waverly mansion was the most known haunted place in all of N.C. Inside, a cool breeze passed the floors. All around there were dead burned plants. The inside was even spookier. It was full of antiques and portraits of people whose eyes follow your every movement. Everywhere you walk, the floors creek. The wind that blows always smells like blood. There is a pool but there is a rumor that if you get in you have a slow painful death.
When Erin finished the note she was determined to get back her parents. She ran out of the house to get her bike and rode 3 miles to the mansion. She ran inside the mansion.
“I’m here. Give me my parents.” Nothing happened. Erin grunted impatiently. Erin went up the stairs then back down.
“Whose there?” Asked Erin as she walked across the corridor. Something echoed across the room in an eerie voice. This is like my dream, thought Erin.
All of sudden, BAM! There was an army of pale white ghosts. Every single one of them was pushing her to the wall. She recognized them right away. They were the relatives she annoyed that died and wanted revenge on her for driving them crazy.
“Kill her!” shouted Lily, Erin’s loathsome aunt. Outside the wind blew so hard the windows opened and a light shone on the ghosts. The ghosts screamed as they scattered out of the bright room. Erin didn’t move. Her eyes were wide open and her mouth was hanging as wide as it could. She thought she was lucky until Lily came out gliding with a dagger in her hand. Erin tried to run but her foot got stuck in a hole in the wooden floor. Finally she got out but she was too late. Lily had stabbed Erin right in the heart.
That was the last of Erin Lanhow. Erin is now known as a rumor. Some people say her ghost haunts the mansion but that is also a rumor. Lily and the other relatives live as prank ghosts since they’ve killed the person they hated. Erin [as a ghost] never knew where her parents were. She also didn’t know they were looking for her. Turns out they were never kidnapped. They were just out taking a walk. The ghosts put the note there as a trap. However, Waverly Mansion is still as haunted as it was before.
The End
