Falling Stars

Yeah, so this poem has no structure or anything really.  I was just inspired.  And I wrote it in only a few minutes.  And I don't write poetry much.  Anyway, here's my poem.

Would you rather catch a falling star,

And keep it with you forever?

Or let it race through the skies,

To be seen by whomever?

As it laces its dusty trail through the black,

Will you reach out and grab it away?

Or will you throw it back out into the night,

To let it and the other stars play?

Would you steal a piece of outer space,

Just to say it belongs to you?

No, leave it in the sky for eternity,

So that I can wish upon it too.
