A Friendship On The Outside

What we see is different then most
the heart in each other
the power of our thoughts
the drive to succeed fuels our actions
if that's what it is when people don't think it's attraction
sometimes you're like a magnet
and I'm the iron
Or I am the only source of water
and you're dehydrated
we display the friendship like a well written novel
everything else we hide inside
till we're ready to show them
the true meaning of self control
I'm happy as friends and so are you
even if you know a secret
that should have never been told
but a few backstabbing beasts decided to tell
humilate me for all to tell
but you didn't care
you actually were more of a comfort
cause you're better then them
and didn't kick me while I was down
We're friends on the outside
brother and sister maybe on the in
but for now we deal as friends
and I know you care
