Grief (Poem.)

I, inside, held you
I caressed away your fears and dried away your tears
Softly, like the clouds when they passed us by, Slowly.
No meaning of time and of our existence in this world
Until the day came when I let go
I didn't foresee it, neither did you
And it's true now, I'm nothing more
Then a headstone and a faded picture
I'm free, I have no worry, I knew we all left in the end
But as I float away like the clouds we watched
I see you,
grief.
