Ok, the truth comes out! I'm going to be published! But do understand this: It's not in the traditional sense...I didn't send it to a publishing company, I designed it myself. My book cover? I did that. I've secretly been working on it for weeks and soon it will be a real book! I'm doing this through lulu.com. It's this place that allows you to publish your book in any format. Mine will be a paperback and the story is Alone In the Middle. Y'all should know that some of the people who commented are going to have their comments on the back cover. Nathan, Nicole, Jessie and Susmi. The comments they made are going to be there! Once the book is actually a book, I can have distributed to stores world-wide and can also sell it online!!! It's so cool! I know it's different from your standard way of publishing, but my dad says that paper publishing isn't doing that well. But online is and my book will be real!!!!!!!

It does cost some money, but not a lot. I think you only have to pay for the cost of one book and then the rest is free. My dad understands more than I do. Make sure your mom or dad is there when money comes up!

Self-publishing, always
Self-publishing, always crashes and burns. I've done it before and it was crap. I can't talk you out of it myself, but look in writers magazines and see how much strife self-published authors went through just to get into the shops!
The only way to get published, is to get published.
Congrats anyway, if by some miracle this works.

That's a fallacy, if I'm correct!(Sorry, big thing in my ACL class- pointing out fallacies!) But I do know it's hard and I'm also not going to give up easily. My dad says though that this sort of thing is bigger now and that regular publishing just isn't doing as well. Besides, wouldn't you love to have atleast one book with your name on the front cover?

Published is Published....Be happy your words are in print....That's all that should matter. Look up some famous authors...There's a few for sure who were self published before making it bug.

First you have to get an
First you have to get an account, which is for free. Then, you have to go to the My Lulu tab, click new project, click the type of book you want to make, like paperback for example. Then you type in the name, with your name already there, then you choose the type of book and stuff and I'm pretty sure it has to be aminimal of 32 pages.
