Just Friends (With Kristen)- Chapter Four

by Mollie (Rue Halloway) in her bedroom on her computer writing a million stories and never finishing them.

I stared at Shannon, shocked.

"Uhm," I said in my charming english accent. "I'll have to think about that."

She looked down at her hand, which was laying on mine in the anticipation a moment ago.

"I'm sorry," I apologized, getting out of the car and walking down the street to my house.

I really had to think about this. I mean, my best friend just asked me out on a DATE.

Did she think I was into her, like in a girlfriend kind of way?

Okay, I admit it. She's hott.

She gained a tan in Florida, and her eyes seemed to have gotten bluer. Her dirty blonde hair seemed to have gotten straighter than usual.

UGH! Why did she have to be so beautiful?!

I looked over my shoulder, but she was gone.

I had to decide. Soon! Otherwise I just might lose her for good.

But what about Danielle?

She was amazingly cute, and her black curls cascaded down her back so perfectly. Her amber eyes were always sparkling with happiness.

Who to choose?

I hadn't a clue.

But I had a feeling I was about to find out.

I sat in my bedroom, pretending to do my homework, while I was really texting Danielle.

From: Dimitri

To: Danielle

hey, sweetie. hows school?

About ten minutes later, I got a reply.

From: Danielle

To: Dimitri

fun. but i miss you!

I smiled.

Danielle was my love, but Shannon was my 'like'. Who to choose? Who to choose?

I think I'm going to regurgitate the fish sticks I had before homework.

I literally didn't know what to do.

Should I move on? Or should I stay with Danielle.

Things just got more complicated then they needed to be.
