A.N.: Kind of a stupid poem. I dunno. It's because of the song "Fireflies" by Owl City. Yeah, I'm back. I went to outdoor ed and now I'm back. (:

I haven’t been alive in a while

I haven’t breathed since when

Never felt the sun on my skin

Never felt the air in my lungs

And the flash of the

Million lightning bugs that are here

That means I’m back

I’m back as the side of your hand

I’m back as the wind in your hair

I’m back as the breeze in the twigs

I’m back as the smile in the air

I haven’t smiled in quite some time

I haven’t dreamed for a while

Never felt the taste of a smile on my lips

Never heard a laugh to call it mine

And the chirp of the

Million fireflies that are here

That means I’m back

I’m back as the shine in the sun

I’m back as the song in the trees

I’m back as the beat in your heart

I’m back as the crack in the leaves

I’m back

I’ve been back

Next to you the whole time

Turn around

I’m a lightning bug
