A Make Believe True Story! I almost Drowned! Frita style
in None of your business!
March 31st, 2008
Me and my two bffs, Hazel and Frita were over Frita's house. Frita was the one with all the riches and had a pool. It was blazing hot out, a nontypical day. It was just about noon when we just got out of the car when we arrived at her house.
"Too hot!" Hazel yelled. She was breathing like a dog.
"Frita, pool, now!" I screamed and dropped down on the grass. The grass was even dead.
Frita's grandma got out of the car. We were lucky we made it out alive! That lady is hopelessly lost in her own mind full of the real world upside down practically.
"Grandma can we go in the pool?"
"Stop yelling child!" Frita gulped and whispered near her grandmother, can we go in the pool. "Oh of course child."
We all ran to the pool excitedly and jumped in with our clothes still on.
"Aw! My shoes are so soggy!" I complained. I had just got brand new sneakers too!
"My flip flops are floating around in the deep end!" Hazel yelled.
We were both waiting for a comment from Frita but there was just silence.
"Uh, Frita?" I said.
"Frita," Hazel repeated and turned around. "AHHHH! Frita!"
I quickly spun around. Frita was at the bottom of the pool.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!" I yelled and breathed frantically.
"What should we do? You get her!" Hazel yelled.
I gulped and dove down. Being the best swimmer sometimes isnt an advantage.
Holding my breath I opened my eyes underwater. My shoes were too heavy and my shirt was soaking in my face. I slipped off my shoes and my shirt and felt the water soaking through my socks. I watched as my sketchers floated to the bottome of the pool. Paddling hard I made my way through the water and grabbed Frita. Her eyes were closed and she looked pale. I wasn't good at holding my breath and my cheeks puffed. I forcefully gripped my friend and pulled her to the shallow end. Then I reached up for air still holding Frita's arm. I gasped for breath and held her head above water.
A gasp came from all three of us. I let go of my friends arm and stared at her head. It was all red and scratched up. Frita rubbed her head.
"I, I, I," She studdered. "Hit my head, as I jumped. Hurt soo bad and just sunk. Thanks Julia."
I nodded still gasping for air. Frita seemed fine and Hazel's face turned calm again.
"No problem, just I hope that never happens again."
"Oh, it won't. Next time we don't go swimming unless my parents are watching us. My clueless grandma here is half dead."
We all laughed and swam.
