Chapter 3

Amith marched through the streets of Mallah with her armor covering her slim body, like always, showing only her head. She walked along, looking for a fight, but everyone steered clear of Amith, not wanting to be injured or occasionally killed. Yeah, she’d killed people, but only because they’d dared mess with her. She’d be a perfect warrior for one of Jade’s team, but he always refused her. How dare he refuse her? She was the best fighter he’d ever meet!

Amith walked through the streets, receiving many glares followed by fleeing townsfolk. All she could manage was a small laugh of amusement. They were right to flee. Amith had a small level of resistance. Suddenly, her green eyes spotted a paper flying through the streets. She quickly snatched it up, just before an old man could grab it. She shot him a look that sent him running back towards his home. Amith held the paper up to read it.

TEAM TRIALS

Three strong warriors needed to accompany a team of two. Please attend whether to watch from the stands or battle for the position in team Riviera.

A grin spread across Amith’s face. The Team Trials: a chance for her to become a warrior of Jade’s teams. This time though, Jade couldn’t reject her, because it wasn’t of Jade’s choosing: it was the warriors.
