After the long school day Lesley, Grace and Grant met at Lesley's house.
"Hey guys" Lesley said as Grace closed the door. "Hey" Grace and Grant said in unison.
They all decided to do their homework in the family room. Lesley turned on the TV. It was already on MTV. "OK, so lets get started" Lesley said taking all the school books out of her bookbag. "You guys all right with english first?" Lesley asked opening up to page 133 in her English textbook and taking out a sheet of paper from her binder.
Exercise I, replace the italisized word with the correct grammer" Grace read fom the textbook.
As the three worked on their homework, Lesley and Grant were both thinking about how they could make their relationship go forward. Neither of them were really paying attention to their schoolwork.
Finally after hours of writing Lesley, Grant and Grace finished their homework. Grant said his good-bies and reached for the door.
"No, wait" Lesley said holding Grant back. "Yeah?" Grant asked hopefully.
"Uh" Lesley said blankly, "D...Do you want to go to the movies with me o Saturday?" "I'd love to" Grant replied quickly, "Meet you there at seven to catch the seven fifteen 'The Day After Tomorrow'?" "See you there" Lesley said exitedly.
Later, after Grant had went home, Grace stayed to talk to Lesley. "How did you do that?" Grace asked Lesley. "I don't know, I just blurted it out" Lesley replied. "I guess you really like him don't you?" Grace exclaimed. Yeah, I guess so" Lesley said, nervous about what was going to happen on Saturday.
"Well, do you want to watch TV?" Lesley asked Grace, changing the subject. "OK" Grace replied, seeing the look on Lesley's face.
So Lesley and Grace watched MTV for about half an hour.
During that half an hour, 'Amazed' came on MTV. Lesley thought it was the perfect song that talked abot her and Grant.
Without even telling Grace what she was doing, Lesley ran to the computer. Grace got very confused and went home to try to gather her thoughts. Lesley downloaded 'Amazed' and burned it onto a blank CD. She decided that this song was going to be the only one on this CD.
Just then Christie walked into the room. "Hey hunny, what are you doing?" she asked giving Lesley her I-Just-Wanted-To-Know face. "Oh, just downloading stuff" Lesley said,closing out the 'burn' window.
"OK" and she left Lesley alone.
That night, when Lesley went to bed, she listened to 'Amazed' five times before she drifted off to sleep.
