The Ocean

A/N: I havn't written poetry in a while, and I know this is short but it was a sudden inspiration thing so.....Hope you like it!

The Ocean

I look across the sapphire horizon, one which many creatures call home.

I feel the soft sand under my feet and feel the delicate caress of the waves as they float ashore.

I can smell the sea expanding for miles on end,

And taste the bitter salt of it on my tongue.

The ocean,

One of many gifts from God.
