Our Star

Our Star

As if they’re taunting me

The stars in the sky

Twinkle on and off

I’ll probably never find

The perfect answer

But I thought it was okay

Under the night sky we saw,

From that place

We promised each other

If you laugh,

I will laugh,

I’m happy with that choice!

Within the many sleepless nights

I wished that I could be with you

I connected the stars

With my fingertip,

Drawing out my dreams

Even if the light is very weak

It gets stronger,

When I think of you

If I look up at the sky

That star we found,

Is still blinking

I thought about you,

A thousand times

And it felt like I was all alone

This heart that just longs,

To be with you

Its silent wish will not be heard

If that star is you,

Then I will be

The star right next to it!

We will put my name,

And your name,

Together on that star!

During all those many sleepless nights

I wanted to be with you,

More than anything else

“A little longer,

I want to be by your side,

A little longer!”

I will turn your ever falling tears,

Into sparkling stars across the sky

Beside your shadowed silhouette

I saw a comet fall

From your eyes

I promise to escape

From sleepless nights,

And I will right this second

I will go to the

Ends of the earth

To hear you laugh again!

Even if that light is dying out

It gets stronger

When I think of you

If I look up at,

That sparkling sky,

The star we found that day,

Is still blinking

We’re always together, right?

So don’t cry…
