A Perfect Dream.

A Perfect Dream.
Into a cloud of white,
a soft song playing,
with the cause not in sight,
I follow it's wordless singing,
longing for it's sweet caress.
The peacefulness makes it hard to assess,
for that's what it is:
white sweetness.
Better than sugar's brain fizz,
and softer than the lightest comforter.
The cloud let's my mind wander...
Is this what a cloud is like?
Like a heaven on Earth?
and makes me happier than any psyche?
And should I thank the dream?
Because it's too perfect, without any seams.
The music just right,
The sun's perfect-colored beams,
music no one can duplicate, no matter how tight.
Yes, this is unreal.
But despite how surreal,
I thank my imagination,
that this is here to make me feel,
like anything is my creation.
Quiet, simple, and absolutely perfect.
So when I awake,
I thank my mind,
for this sweet break,
and a chance to unwind.
