I did try to go in through the back door but it said I couldn't enter because the server was down do you have any Idea why it would say that?

Please read the story and poem I have posted and tell me what you think about them. I hope to make the Mystery on the Mountain story I wrote into a chapter book and if you want to help me write it that would be great that is only if you like that kind of writing.

Salutations! Well, there isn't much left to say. I'm Marie Lynn (sounds like Mary Lin) and if you need any questions just ask me or any other of the Kidpubbers. We are like one giant family, taking care of each other and being nice to each other and helping each other out.
KidMud is, at first, confusing. It's a text world where you can have your own character and objects and pets. First of all, click on the Kidmud link, and name your character and make a password. Then click on the Back Door and type: connect (your character name goes here) (your password goes here). I assume you already know this, so I'll skip ahead to part when you get in Kidmud. This is just a small little guide, in case you don't know how to do anything on there.
Type @gender female/male. This will set your gender. Then type: @describe me as (Put your description here. Make it detailed so when people look at you in Kidmud they know exactly what you look like!)
To look around just type 'look' or 'look (specific object)'. For example, if you see a couch that has a description, type, 'look couch'.
To create an object, type: @create $thing called (the name of your object) and then describe it the same way you described yourself.
To create something to sit on, type: @create $furniture called (chair, couch, etc.) And then type: @set couch.seat to (number of people that can sit on it)
To create a table, type @create $table called (whatever you want it to be called)
And when you simply type: look it shows you the room's description. To get out of that room or place, you look at the description. AT the end of the description it will say the exits. Just type one of these to move from room to room.
To say things, type, "Blah blah blah blah, put whatever you want to say.
You only need one quotation mark at the beginnning.
To do things, type :yawns, smiles, winks, etc.
Make sure you put the ':'. It's very important! Well, that's just a few of the things you can do on Kidmud. I bet you have read the guide to Kidmud, but just in case you haven't, I wrote this for you. See ya on Kidmud sometime!
