A Poem About A Day For A Middle Schooler

You hear your alarm clock ring
It sounds like a bell going 'ding, ding'
You make it stop
Then you roll in your bed untill you drop
You fell with a boom
On the ground in your room
You get up and rush into the bathroom

You run out of the bathroom and dash to your closet
Clothes flying everywhere!
Some end up in your nicely combed hair
You then pick out your favorite top and shorts
You slip on your new sneakers and grab your science report
You dash downstairs without any haste
You grab your bag and take a break
You eat your breakfast and run out the door
Thank goodness you remembered your school poem 'Forever More'

You get into school and go to your locker
Then your teacher comes out, Mrs. Crocker
She yells at you because you were unprepared
So you walk into class with...your sister's bag that looks like a HARE?!
The kids laugh and tease
You pray and say many pleases
You ask to go call for your bag
So then the kids laugh more and gag
Soon enough your bag gets to school
But your mom gives you a baby lunch box, so uncool!

Finally it's time for lunch
All the populars get in a bunch
Than the most popluar leads them to their table
You try to join but you were unable
To grab a seat
But instead a fellow classmate steals the spot

Ugh, now it's the afternoon
You're in Science and you have to use a fume
You got paired up with...TWO POPULARS?!
They make you do all the work and say you'll be popular
You burned yourself 3 times
Then the populars made up mean rhymes

FINALLY, you're free!
You run home with your friend Lee
You finish all your homework and then go to soccer practice

You scored 5 goals in scrimage
Then you say,
"I guess this wasn't such a bad day..."
