Poem- Freeflowing- Easy
in NSW
December 30th, 2009
I come out
All I want is space
So I go over to a quiet corner
But they swarm around me
Converge on me
You hang at the back
You are so easy
I am peaceful when I am
By your side
Comfortable silences
Easy silences
As we both rejoice in the
Sound of silence
Your brutal honesty
Is something to be proud of
I like it when
Praise is the truth
When someone
Is not afraid
To point out where I can improve
But with you
The truth can be so easy
It is like I am on a mountain
They tell me to climb higher
You tell me to enjoy the view from
Where I already stand
And the view is beautiful here
Stopping and smelling the roses
Is so easy
When I am with you
Weight lifts
And, oh
It is easy to breathe again
When I am with you
Everything becomes so
Easy
