Poem- Freeflowing- My Heros
in NSW
August 6th, 2011
(A/N: I had to write this in English. It's about my Grandparents.)
My Heros,
Visit the sick,
The poor,
The unemployed,
The alcoholics,
The refugees,
The abused,
The single mothers with babies,
The disabled on pensions that are not enough,
Those who have been in jail,
Those with dept to pay that they cannot,
Those who are discriminated against because
Of colour,
Of race,
Of religion.
My Heros,
Give these people tea and sympathy,
And bread,
And doughnuts,
And vouches for clothes,
For food,
For the rest of the groceries,
For electricity,
For water,
For furniture,
For electricals,
For the movies on their sons birthday,
When they cannot afford to take him anywhere,
Or buy him a present.
My Heros,
Work out spending plans for these people,
So they can pay off their dept,
So they can afford medical bills,
So they can afford the groceries without assistance,
So they can move to an apartment that is not
Half the size of an average lounge and dinning room.
My Heros,
Give these people smiles,
And laughter,
And hope,
And help,
And friendship,
And love,
That so many of them otherwise would not have had.
