Queen of flowers
Beautifully dressed
In silken thread
Adorned in diamonds
Reflecting red.
Crimson folded
Ruby wrapped
At last Tucked in
At dusk she naps.
At dawn she wakes
To the kiss of dew
Sunlight is
Her waking cue.
The time of day
Is her best
For now he flourishes
Fully dressed.
The rose
Holds all powers
Day or night
She’s the queen of flowers.
