A secret is information

that you keep to yourself

and don't want anyone to know.

A secret is a whisper

to you very best friend

that you pinky promise never to tell.

A secret is something

you use to confide

to bring yourself releif

of it.

When someone tells a secret

to someone that they trust

and they keep the secret

they are free.

When someone tells a secret

that they promised not to tell

and it's exposed

it is not a secret

anymore.

A secret can be dark

a secret can be silly

a secret can be a burden

but it's still a secret.
