In their secret little world,
Every little boy and every girl,
Have neverending toys,
No one makes a noise.
In their secret little world,
Nobody is a bore.
They love each other,
And have kind fathers and mothers.
When they snap back to reality,
They find themselves on the streets of New York City,
Poor, homeless and hungry,
They cry and ask, "Why me?"
But in their secret little world,
All the girls dance and twirl.
The boys hug their mothers,
And never about hunger will they wonder.
