First of all, hi! Secondly, from what I've seen of your stories, they are really good, and I like mysteries too. Thirdly, I'm not the best at giving advice, so I hope you're not offended by anything I tell you.
Now the advice.
Some of my stories start out with a title. The story I'm working on started with a title. And they all turned out to be garbage (except for the one I'm working on, I'm not sure yet). For me, it doesn't work to go backwards like that, but you're free to try it.
Also, borrowing ideas doesn't work either. I've tried continuously to make other ideas my own, and I've always given up. I understand that when you need to get a story out its not always easy, but doing the above isn't the answer. My advice is to work with the story you have, or just to wait.
I hope I didn't offend you, because as I said, I'm very good at this.
