Sick Day
in the gym, like always
November 23rd, 2009
What do you do when you are ill?
The answer is obvious: stay home from school.
You can read a book or draw a tree.
You can surf the net or watch TV.
You can write a book or poetry.
You can play a board game, but soon you'll see,
That books get old when you read them twice.
That your twentieth tree doesn't look as nice.
That the internet's boring after a while.
That even TV can't make you smile.
That it's hard to write whan you can't concentrate.
That your poetry stinks when you have to wait,
For something you've never really thought cool.
Please, Mom, oh please, let me go back to SCHOOL!
