Appearance: Sloths have long gray ,brown hair. Their hair curves in the opposite direction of most mammals. They have two toes on their front legs and three toes on their back legs. Their faces has a short snout, short flat head and big eyes. Their thick brown fur is coated with green algae.

Food and water:Sloths eat a lot of different foods . They eat twigs, fruit, small insects, lizards, tender shoots, leaves, carrion and beatles. Sloths get their water from juicy leaves and by licking drewdrops

Predators and Defense:Sloths have very sharp claws to fight off their predators. Their predators are people, snakes, harpy birds, jaguars and ocelots

Habitat:Sloths main habitat is living in big rainforest canopies. They live in rainforests all around Central and South America such as Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay and Southern Peru
